Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, craft high-quality drinks, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. This role requires a strong understanding of beverage preparation, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. The bartender will play a key role in maintaining food safety standards and ensuring responsible alcohol service.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
  • Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, taking orders and offering recommendations
  • Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
  • Manage cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption
  • Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and beverages as needed throughout shifts
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours
  • Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation standards
  • Assist in setting up and closing down the bar area at the beginning and end of shifts

Skills

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially as a bartender or server
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS and cashiering procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
  • Effective communication skills to interact with guests and team members seamlessly
  • Familiarity with the food industry standards related to hospitality and responsible alcohol service

Pay: $17.60-$20.50 per hour
