Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Sr. Business System Analyst (Cloud Migration / API) to support a Branch Virtualization Project focused on moving branch hardware devices, databases, and authentication systems to the cloud. The successful candidate will play a key role in modernizing infrastructure, enhancing scalability, and improving efficiency across branch operations. Acting as both a Business Systems Analyst and a Product Owner, this individual will collaborate with business and technology teams to define requirements, manage priorities, and drive execution.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a Business Systems Analyst and Product Owner, supporting the branch virtualization and cloud migration initiative.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business and technology stakeholders, to gather requirements and align objectives.
  • Write clear, detailed, and technically sound user stories that guide development and implementation.
  • Translate complex technical concepts — including APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure — into business-friendly language for non-technical audiences.
  • Lead discussions with multiple stakeholders to clarify priorities, resolve ambiguities, and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, especially when working with limited information or evolving requirements.
  • Work proactively and independently to ensure timely progress and successful project outcomes.
  • Support modernization efforts by identifying opportunities to streamline branch operations and improve system scalability through cloud solutions.

Desired Skill Set

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, ideally with exposure to cloud migration or API integration projects.
  • Proven experience acting as a Product Owner in Agile or hybrid project environments.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern API-driven architectures.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to simplify technical information for diverse audiences and drive consensus.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced, evolving project environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with branch or enterprise system modernization projects in financial institutions.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, cloud security, and identity management solutions.
  • Experience using Jira or other Agile project management tools.
