Sweetie Pie is hiring for the WINTER VILLAGE at the Distillery District Location and the HARBOURFRONT WINTER FEST KIOSK in Toronto. We are looking for Baristas, customer service positions, cashier and bakers. This is a seasonal position where successful candidates will work front of the house during the winter villages. MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKEND EVENINGS.

We are seeking skilled and outgoing Customer Service / Barista persons to join who love working in a busy fast paced environment. In this role you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious beverages and baked goods. If you have a passion for coffee, hot chocolate and enjoy creating a positive experience for customers, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks

- Operate the POS system to accurately process customer orders and payments

- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking their orders, and answering any questions they may have

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area

- Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages

- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed

Requirements:

- Previous experience in food service or as a Barista is preferred but not required

- Weekends and Evening availability are a must.

- Strong cash handling skills and basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating change.

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Knowledge of food handling procedures is a plus
