Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional coffee experience for our customers. You will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. If you have a love for coffee, excellent time management skills, and a friendly demeanor, we would love to hear from you.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
  • Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, ensuring all food items are presented attractively and meet quality standards.
  • Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders and manage inventory effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours while maintaining high-quality service.

Qualifications

  • Previous barista experience or experience in the food service industry is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
  • Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
