Reporting to the Director, Key Accounts , the Key Accounts Manager will play a critical role in driving our business with a primary focus on building and managing relationships with key chain and retail partners. You'll support sales leadership in business planning, promotional strategy, and execution with large retail customers.
The Key Accounts Manager will be responsible for planning, establishing and implementing local and national sales strategies that support Collective Arts business objectives across the full product portfolio.
Responsibilities as a Key Accounts Manager includes:
- Procuring and managing national key accounts under the direction of the Director, Key Accounts
- Assist in the development of the portfolio's customer strategies such as additions to the portfolio, promo pricing at key accounts, and key account promotional plans.
- Drive sales growth by developing and implementing strategic key account planning and identifying new business opportunities
- Lead contract negotiations with key accounts with the support of the Finance team
- Work closely with the Supply Chain team to ensure products are delivered in a timely manner
- Working with the Brand Management team to ensure Collective Arts experiences and marketing plans are felt within our key account partners along with trade marketing plans for large key accounts
How your time will be organized:
- Key Account Management (50%): Manage relationships with key off and on premise accounts across Canada. Negotiate listings, pricing, and promotional calendars to maximize sales and visibility.
- Business Planning & Commercial Strategy (25%): Develop and execute commercial business plans and annual sales strategies. Identify opportunities for incremental distribution, portfolio expansion, and seasonal innovation.
- Reporting & Insights (25%): Working with sales leadership to track sales performance, evaluate promotional ROI, and analyze market trends to inform future strategy and execution.
We're looking for candidates who have/are:
- 3+ years of experience in alcoholic beverage sales or experience in the Canadian CPG environment, ideally as a Key Account Manager
- Existing relationships with buyers, ideally in the beverage category
- Deep understanding of the Canadian alcohol regulatory landscape, including listing processes, category management, and promotional planning..
- Previous experience in creating dashboards and using data is considered an asset
- Ability to think creatively and use resources to effectively solve problems
- Ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
- Valid G driver's license with access to own vehicle
