Job Summary

We are seeking another morning person to join our BREAKFAST team at Miki's Breakfast and Sushi in the Tyee Plaza, Campbell River. We love to get creative with menu items and strive to give our customers a great experience from plating to palate. We are open for breakfast service from 6 am to 11 am, then close the kitchen and switch over to our Sushi and Korean Service for 11:30.

Approximately 15 hours per week to START with opportunity for more hours to cover shifts as needed and with full time available in the new year.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Assisting with food prep.
  • Assisting with dishes and cleaning tasks
  • Executing dishes to order with your team
  • Maintaining a food safe environment

Requirements:

  • Experience on a kitchen line
  • Food Safe Level 1 or Higher
  • MUST BE Available weekend mornings (7 am off by noon)
  • MUST BE available for Tuesday opening shifts (5 am to 11:30 am)
  • Ability to lift and carry 50lbs
  • Participation in all cleaning tasks
  • Non-slip Footwear
  • ***Vehicle or transport for 5 am opening shifts - there are NO BUSSES this early***

Wage is $20/hr to START.

Inclusion in tip pool after training period.
