Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and cook menu items following established recipes and quality standards.
  • Assist with meal prep tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling dishes.
  • Support the kitchen team during service hours by ensuring timely food preparation and delivery.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including proper food handling and storage practices.
  • Follow all food safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests.
  • Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or issues.
  • Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
  • Uphold excellent food handling standards while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food preparation, restaurant kitchens, or the food industry is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of culinary techniques, including knife skills, cooking methods, and food presentation.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to learn new skills and techniques.
  • Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and front-of-house staff.
