Job Summary

As a Lead Dispatcher, you will be at the heart of our logistics operations, ensuring that all transportation activities run smoothly and efficiently. MUST HAVE ATLEAST 1-2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE .Your role will involve coordinating freight movement, utilizing advanced transportation management systems, and leveraging your expertise in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and GPS (Global Positioning System) technologies. You'll lead a dynamic team, fostering effective communication and collaboration to optimize our supply chain processes.

What you'll do

  • Oversee daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate routing of freight shipments.
  • must have knowledge of DAT,LOAD LINK and interact with customers and brokers via phones via emails
  • Utilize transportation management systems to monitor and manage logistics activities effectively.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and improve dispatch efficiency while maintaining high service levels.
  • Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to facilitate seamless transportation planning.
  • Maintain clear communication with team members through multi-line phone systems, ensuring all inquiries are handled professionally.
  • Manage fleet operations, including shipping and receiving processes to maximize productivity.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for dispatch staff on best practices in logistics and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout all dispatch activities.

Experience

  • Proven experience of 1-2 years in a dispatching role or similar position within the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Strong familiarity with DAT, LOAD LINK,, or similar software platforms.
  • Excellent typing skills with a keen attention to detail for accurate data entry and record-keeping.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze logistical data and implement improvements based on findings.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette for effective interaction with clients and team members.
