- Education Required: Trade Certification or College Diploma in a related field would be an asset
- Years of Experience Required:

- 5 years of dispatch transportation experience required
- Minimum of 5 years management and or supervision experience required
- Trained and familiar with terminal equipment, dangerous goods and all transportation government regulations
- Strong attention to detail
- Communication, organizational and time management skills
- AS400 knowledge is an asset but not a requirement
- Primary shift will be days
- Responsible for the supervision, training, development and scheduling of Dispatch personnel
- Responsible for learning all personnel functions in order provide support
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding dispatch budget and P&D goals
- Ensure that all drivers have proper driver codes as well as monitor MVI, truck licensing and quarterly reports
- Responsible for all equipment, maintenance, licensing and utilization
- Responsible for the missed pick up report and to ensure that customers are notified and accommodated
- Complete monthly safety talks with drivers in a timely and knowledgeable manner
- Responsible for enforcing company policies which includes but is not limited to uniform and safety policies
