Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (37.5 hrs/week)
About the Role
We are looking for a
Digital Procurement Specialist
to support our Procure-to-Pay (P2P) platform expansion. In this role, you will play a key part in modernizing procurement processes through digital enablement, helping suppliers and internal teams transition smoothly into automated procurement tools. This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to enterprise-level procurement transformation projects in a collaborative, agile environment with career growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with multiple stakeholders (Business, Category Managers, Finance, Suppliers) to gather data and facilitate transition to digital procurement platforms.
- Identify users and suppliers that need onboarding into the system and coordinate with IT and other supporting teams.
- Execute enablement and transaction setup activities, including catalog development, supplier record readiness, and contract validation.
- Ensure buying channels and invoice processes align with procurement strategy for compliance and efficiency.
- Drive internal and external change management activities to support adoption of digital procurement tools.
- Develop and maintain eCatalogs, implement best practices, and standardize procurement processes.
- Analyze procurement metrics (compliance, spend, terms) and provide actionable recommendations.
- Review supplier contracts for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with P2P processes.
- Define purchase order setup requirements based on contract details, including spend allocation and line-item structure.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager or project lead.
Candidate Requirements / Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of relevant experience with procurement technologies (Ivalua preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction and be self-driven.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Applicable certifications in Ivalua or similar procurement platforms.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, macros).
- Experience in procurement or retail industries.
Education
- Undergraduate degree required.
