Advantage Group International is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our Corporate IT and Procurement team. This is a unique opportunity to shape and streamline our procurement operations, vendor management, and contract lifecycle processes. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented and proactive professional who can manage vendor relationships, optimize procurement workflows, and ensure compliance across all procurement activities.

About The Role
We are looking for a strategic and pragmatic Procurement Specialist to support our procurement operations and vendor coordination efforts. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on process optimization, stakeholder engagement, and driving cost efficiencies. You will be responsible for managing vendor intake, contract renewals, reporting, and procurement documentation. Working closely with internal teams and external vendors, you'll ensure procurement activities are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business needs.

Your Day-to-Day
Your role will be to support and optimize our procurement operations. Your responsibilities will involve:

  • Coordinating new vendor evaluations including planning, analysis, due diligence, and documentation
  • Supporting vendor cancellations, sunsetting initiatives, and consolidation efforts
  • Maintaining daily updates and monthly reporting on vendor changes and procurement metrics
  • Managing the procurement inbox and ticketing system, ensuring timely responses to inquiries
  • Conducting stakeholder feedback sessions and quarterly business reviews (QBRs)
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements and automation opportunities
  • Developing and maintaining procurement documentation, SOPs, and workflows
  • Assisting with financial reporting, budget tracking, and vendor spend analysis
  • Supporting cost-saving initiatives and license audits
  • Tracking and managing contract renewals, certifications, and compliance documentation
  • Reviewing and summarizing contracts, maintaining vendor records and documentation
  • Acting as a subject matter expert (SME) for procurement processes and ensuring documentation is current

Your Skill Set
You should have hands-on experience with most of the following, demonstrating a practical and organized approach:

  • Procurement Tools: Familiarity with procurement systems and vendor management platforms
  • Contract Management: Experience reviewing, summarizing, and managing vendor contracts
  • Reporting & Analysis: Strong skills in tracking budgets, analyzing spend, and generating procurement reports
  • Process Optimization: Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements
  • Documentation: Strong organizational skills with a focus on maintaining accurate and accessible records
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging stakeholders and vendors

You must have:

  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, vendor management, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Experience with contract review, vendor coordination, and procurement systems
  • A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a passion for process improvement
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Flexible with work hours, including occasional evenings in EST to support global teams
