Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for food quality and safety. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, from food preparation to team management, ensuring the highest standards of service and cuisine are maintained.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, to ensure efficient operations
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
  • Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper food handling procedures
  • Develop new menu items in collaboration with the culinary team, ensuring creativity and consistency
  • Enforce food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen
  • Train and mentor staff on food industry best practices, hospitality standards, and safety protocols
  • Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Collaborate with restaurant management to optimize workflow and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and licensing requirements

Skills

  • Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling
  • Excellent team management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff
  • Extensive restaurant management experience with a focus on quality control and customer service
  • Deep understanding of food safety standards and regulations within the food industry
  • Exceptional skills in food service coordination and serving procedures

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
