**Position Overview**:
Jungle Room is seeking a dynamic and talented Head Chef to lead our culinary team and support the creative vision of our jungle-inspired menu. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, and food preparation to quality control and team management and working with our consulting Chef to create menus that entice our guests. With a passion for culinary innovation and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the culinary identity of Jungle Room.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with consulting chef to creative menu concepts that reflect the unique fusion of Indonesian and Japanese cuisines, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative techniques.
- Lead and mentor a team of culinary professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence in the kitchen.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency, ensuring that every dish exceeds the expectations of our guests.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to maximize profitability.
- Collaborate closely with the management team to develop and implement strategies for driving culinary innovation and enhancing the overall dining experience.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and food handling procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-volume, upscale restaurant environment.
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on modern Indonesian and Japanese cuisines, as well as a passion for experimenting with flavors and ingredients.
- Excellent leadership abilities, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of culinary professionals to achieve excellence.
- Creative mindset and innovative spirit, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to culinary excellence.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
