Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets, objectives and KPI's.
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics, generate regular reports, and provide insights to senior management.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to develop strategies for business growth.
- Stay up to date with industry developments, new products, and market trends.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build awareness and network with potential customers.
- Other tasks as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (preferred).
- 4-7 years of retail sales experience in the food manufacturing industry. Private Label experience is preferred.
- 3-5 years of proven experience as a sales manager or in a similar sales leadership role.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales management tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Availability to travel for customer meetings, tradeshows, and industry events.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Dessert Manufacturing Facility or Bakery experience.
- Experience in Food, CPG, Foodservice, or Manufacturing
- Existing network within retail, food service, or distribution channels.
- Training or certification in sales, negotiation, or business development techniques
