Job Summary: As a Seasonal Propane Delivery Driver in Ajax, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Avenir Energy customers in a safety focused environment.

This is a fixed contract/Seasonal role with an expected end date in the Spring of 2026. The position includes full benefits and is eligible for over-time.

Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations
  • Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers
  • Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner
  • Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and all other paperwork required
  • Report any potential hazards to dispatch.
  • Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations
  • Actively participate in team meetings and discussions
  • Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends
  • Other duties as required by supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Valid Commercial Driver's license with airbrake endorsement/Class 3 License DZ
  • Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
  • Clean CVOR / personal driving record within Company standards.
  • Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane
  • Experience delivering propane considered an asset

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Knowledge of propane considered an asset
  • Ability to work various shifts
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
