Position Summary

Primary responsibility is to efficiently move and relocate trailers and containers within our transportation yard or facility. Duties include performing shunting maneuvers to position trailers for loading and unloading, ensuring the timely and safe transfer of cargo between storage areas and dock doors.

Location: Oshawa Ontario

Schedule: 45 hours/weekly - Night Shifts - Sunday to Thursdays

What you will do

• Moving around 15-25 shunt trailers per shift using a shunt truck
• Be able to park trailers efficiently and tidy yard spacing to help traffic flow
• Follow company rules and regulations with respect to safety and hours of service
• Ensure trailers are in good working condition and readily available to be loaded

What You'll Bring

• Minimum 1 year AZ Driving Experince required
• Shunting experience 6months to 1 year considered an asset
• Valid class 1 License/Valid AZ license

Along with the following Skills & Competencies:

• Must be comfortable backing into small docks
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a consistent basis
• Excellent customer service skills
