Carousel Logistics is looking for a HGV Driver (Class 1) to join our team.

About The Role
We are looking for a HGV Driver (Class 1) to ensure the smooth, efficient and safe running of our hub in Durham.

  • Salary: £19.64 per hour,
  • Hours: 45 Hours per week - Between 13:00 – 04:00 (hours to be confirmed). Monday-Friday.
  • Location: Durham.

Key Requirements/Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading of the delivery vehicles ensuring correct documentation is in place.
  • Moving & sorting freight in the warehouse as instructed.
  • Ability to follow and instruct others in standard operating procedures and work in a methodical, logical manner, ensuring compliance with contractual targets.
  • Ability to work at pace and understand written English (numbers and words).
  • Undertake delivery, collections &/or trunking as instructed, adhering strictly to the Transport law.
  • Fully ADR qualified (preferable) – training will be provided for the right candidate.
