Position Overview:

Reporting to the National Accounts Manager, the Key Accounts Manager plays a pivotal role in driving growth for Nature's Way Canada by building and nurturing customer relationships with key regional and select national accounts. This position focuses on executing account plans, supporting promotional activities, and ensuring a strong in-store presence. The Key Accounts Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused solutions and contribute to overall sales objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Account Management & Execution:

  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts and support select national accounts within the Food, Drug & Mass channel.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and category managers.
  • Develop deep product and category knowledge to communicate features, benefits, and key ingredients.
  • Execute agreed-upon account plans, including promotional calendars and pricing strategies.
  • Monitor and optimize product distribution, shelf placement, and merchandising compliance.
  • Deliver timely, accurate sales forecasts and actionable reporting.
  • Travel as needed to support account development and execution.

Sales Growth & Support:

  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to drive sales growth through innovation, optimized assortment, and promotional execution.
  • Support new product launches and ensure effective in-store implementation.
  • Collaborate with field sales teams to drive in-store execution.
  • Identify white-space opportunities and emerging trends to recommend new product development.

Trade & Budget Management:

  • Effectively manage trade funds to maximize ROI, correct misaligned investments, and manage trade within approved budgets.
  • Track promotional performance and provide insights for improvement.

Environmental And Social Responsibility:

  • Support with the development, implementation and monitoring of the organization's environmental and social goals as they relate to your team. This includes establishing your team's performance metrics in alignment with the organization's sustainability strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation or continuous improvement to enhance the organization's sustainability goals (such as waste reduction/ diversion, circularity/ plastic reduction, emissions reduction, sustainable procurement, local sourcing, etc.).
  • Foster a culture of sustainability within the organization by encouraging your team's participation in sustainability initiatives and committees (such as volunteering at community events, Sustainability Committee/ DEI Committee participation, 1% for the Planet employee nomination contest, etc.).

Required Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of experience in account management or sales within CPG or health & wellness.
  • Strong understanding of retail dynamics and Health & Wellness category trends within the Food, Drug, and Mass channels.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred or equivalent sales experience.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with retailer portals and syndicated data tools (e.g., Nielsen, SPINS, IRI) is an asset.
  • Proven ability to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and passion for natural health

Travel:

Some travel is required to properly understand each market and complete duties as assigned.

Pay: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
