Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic kitchen staff. In this role, you will be integral to our food preparation and service operations, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work collaboratively with fellow team members in a fast-paced environment, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Assist in meal preparation by following recipes and portioning ingredients accurately.
- making sushi roll and sashimi prepare ingredient including making sushi rice.
- Cook and prepare food items according to established menus and food safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain food safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours
- Participate in training sessions on food safety, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and knowledge of kitchen equipment is a plus.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in meal preparation and food service.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy environment.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.
