**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and assemble sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service during peak hours.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Stay updated on sushi trends and techniques to continuously improve menu offerings.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that each dish meets quality expectations.
**Experience**
- Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in food handling and meal preparation, is preferred.
- Familiarity with sushi-making techniques and Japanese cuisine is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations relevant to the restaurant environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Additional pay:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
