Browns Socialhouse Mount Royal Village is looking for a new General Manager to lead our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years management experience in restaurants, with a focus on food service and customer satisfaction. This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage operations, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and service.
  • Manage and train staff, fostering a positive team environment while promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  • Conduct interviews and hire new employees to build a skilled workforce.
  • Maintain inventory levels and oversee cash handling procedures.
  • Implement and uphold food safety protocols in accordance with health regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Monitor kitchen operations, ensuring quality control in food handling and presentation.
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance restaurant performance and guest satisfaction.

Experience

  • Proven experience in restaurant management
  • Experience with supervising staff, team management, and training new employees.
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial reporting.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff alike.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
