What's a typical day as a Part-time Production Supply & Logistics Analyst? You'll be:

  • Modeling and tracking the flow of physical fluid movements, including managing contractual transactions through gathering systems and terminals.
  • Reporting on pipeline and terminal shipper positions, maintaining balances, and ensuring contract compliance.
  • Preparing month-end volumetric accounting reports for all shippers and products.
  • Overseeing quarterly volumetric re-forecasting, participating in budgeting and long-range planning activities.
  • Managing system capacity, initiating restrictions, curtailments, or apportionment when required.
  • Forecasting and reconciling system balances, updating customer QuickConnect portals.
  • Addressing nominations, throughput, and facility connections as the main liaison for shippers, pipeline operators, and internal teams.
  • Analyzing, strategizing, and resolving operational disruptions impacting fluid movements.
  • Maintaining internal applications and audit controls, while acting as a subject matter expert for integrated pipeline projects.
  • Supporting special projects and proactively communicating with customers and stakeholders.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Hold a post-secondary degree/certificate in Business or Economics, or have at least 2+ years of related experience.
  • Bring 2–4 years' experience in crude oil/midstream logistics or a related industry.
  • Are advanced in Excel and possess strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Are collaborative, team-oriented, and communicate exceptionally in both written and verbal mediums.
  • Remain customer-centered, results-focused, and welcome feedback.
  • Can skillfully balance detailed reporting with strategic planning.
  • Are willing and able to support urgent operational issues outside normal business hours, as required.

Preferred assets:

  • Experience with oil blending, crude logistics, or pipeline system operations.
  • Familiarity with industry reporting platforms, including Petroleum Registry, COLC, and Petrinex.
  • Knowledge of inventory management practices in oil & gas.
