Production Supply and Logistics Analyst
in the
Oil and Gas industry

Calgary, Alberta.
Join a dynamic midstream operations team as a Contract Production Supply & Logistics Analyst. This customer service-focused role manages volumetric supply and forecasting of crude oil and diluent, ensuring accurate reporting and smooth pipeline operations. You'll act as a key liaison between shippers, facility operators, field personnel, and internal stakeholders, delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Total Rewards

  • $ $62.00 hourly
  • Competitive contract rate
  • Exposure to complex pipeline operations and logistics
  • This is a Bi-weekly schedule. Week One: Monday & Tuesday one week- 8 hours a day (16 hours a week) Week Two: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday - 8 hours a day (24 hours a week)
  • Preferred rates for benefit coverage available
  • Weekly pay including 4% vacation pay
  • 6 month contract

A Typical Day

  • Model and track physical fluid movements and manage contractual transactions
  • Monitor and report shipper positions to ensure compliance with contracts
  • Generate month-end volumetric accounting reports for all products
  • Prepare quarterly forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans
  • Manage system capacity and tools for restriction or curtailment activities
  • Liaise with shippers, facility operators, and field operations to resolve issues
  • Develop analytics and contingency plans for operational sensitivities
  • Maintain integrity of applications and workbooks, and support audits and reporting

You Bring

  • Post-secondary degree or certificate in Business/Economics or equivalent experience
  • 2–4 years crude oil or related industry experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative approach
  • Familiarity with industry reporting systems such as Petroleum Registry, Petrinex (asset)
