Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, particularly in performing routine maintenance tasks. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the highest quality of work.

Duties

  • Perform oil changes and fluid checks, including engine oil, transmission fluid, coolant, and brake fluid.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential issues or necessary repairs.
  • Assist with tire rotations, brake services, and other routine maintenance services as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about services performed and recommendations for future maintenance.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
  • Engage in sales opportunities by promoting additional services or products that may benefit the customer.

Requirements

  • Previous dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive systems.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during vehicle maintenance tasks.
  • Familiarity with automotive repair processes and maintenance schedules is essential.
