Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tire and Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and fluid top-offs, while providing excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to develop technical skills in automotive repair and maintenance within a professional dealership environment. The Lube Technician will work closely with experienced mechanics and utilize various hand and power tools to ensure vehicles are serviced efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Perform oil changes, fluid replacements, and basic vehicle inspections with precision and attention to detail
  • Use hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance tasks efficiently
  • Assist in the diagnosis of minor mechanical issues when necessary
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use
  • Provide exceptional customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions professionally
  • Support the team with additional maintenance or repair tasks as needed
  • Uphold safety standards by following dealership safety protocols during all procedures

Experience

  • Dealership experience is preferred but not required; relevant mechanic experience is highly valued
  • Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs is essential
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance procedures is necessary
  • Prior experience in automotive repair or maintenance roles is advantageous
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during service procedures
  • Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients
  • Basic sales skills are a plus, as upselling additional services may be part of the role

Pay: $19.00-$25.80 per hour
