Full-Cycle Accounting Bookkeeper

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Full-Cycle Accounting Bookkeeper to join our accounting and administration team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing all aspects of the accounting cycle, from daily transactions to month-end reporting, and will play a key role in supporting the financial health of our growing aviation business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform full-cycle accounting including A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
  • Process payroll and related remittances
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closings
  • Maintain vendor and customer accounts, ensuring timely payments and collections
  • Prepare GST, Source Deduction and other government filings
  • Support the management team with financial analysis and reporting as needed
  • Other administrative and accounting duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of full-cycle accounting experience (aviation or transportation industry experience an asset)
  • Proficiency with accounting software (Sage 50 preferably) and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
