Your Specialized Role:
As a Senior Bookkeeper at Preferred Client Services, you'll specialize in GST and year-end review, playing a pivotal role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. You will:
- Lead the GST and year-end review process across a diverse portfolio of client files, providing expert guidance and support.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique needs and challenges, offering tailored solutions and strategic advice.
- Contribute to day-to-day bookkeeping operations with a focus on precision and timeliness, setting the standard for excellence within our team.
- Proficiently prepares and processes T4, T4A, and T5018 forms, ensuring accurate year-end balancing and compliance.
- Mentor and coach junior team members on GST-related matters, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Drive the enhancement and refinement of our GST and year-end review processes, leveraging your expertise to deliver exceptional results.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks (Online, Desktop, Enterprise), Sage (50, 100, 300), Dynamics, Xero, or similar platforms
- Above average experience and skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to analyze complex formulas and produce pivot tables
- Strong understanding of Canadian tax regulations (Federal and provincial) and payroll processes
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written
- Commitment to meeting deadlines
- Leadership experience is a plus
