Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, availability on Saturdays is a strong asset

Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, the Technical Sales & Service Associate serves as the primary customer contact, guiding online and in-store customers in their welding equipment and tool purchasing. This role offers training on cutting-edge welding technologies and practical experience with top-tier industry tools and equipment.

Daily you will:

  • Working in-store, you will support customers their with online order pick ups or in-store purchases.
  • Answer B2B and B2C customer inquiries via e-mail, online chat.
  • Support existing customers with their orders as it pertains to delivery issues, defects, warranty issues or status updates. Following up with the correct external contact as needed.
  • Going above and beyond to provide technical and troubleshooting support to customers.
  • Stay on top of welding industry news and product innovations.
  • Support Marketing team with the development of social media content.
  • Ad-Hoc sales projects as assigned.

You will be successful in this role, if you:

  • Have a customer-first mindset, and enjoy solving problems
  • Are tech savvy, and can easily pick up new systems, and are generally comfortable working within multiple browser tabs at once. Previous experience using a CRM is considered an asset.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Being bilingual in French would be considered an asset.
  • Have previous experience within the welding industry, either hands-on or through post-secondary studies.
  • Have a genuine curiosity to learn about the latest welding innovations.
  • Are comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment. We're a growing business, and being adaptable is key
