The Purpose of your role: As Application Engineer, you will support the growth in order intake and be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to Customers throughout the entire application lifecycle. You will accomplish this by working closely with sales, engineering and product development teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet our Customers' needs and exceed their expectations. You will report to the VP of Engineering. Your Key Responsibilities: Have a bias for action to ensure you represent KSB Canada's interest and corporate image in a professional manner. Develop and maintain customer relationships. Address and respond to inquiries for products and services in the most professional form and lead time. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, providing expert advice and guidance on the selection, implementation, and optimization of the pumping system. Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and design customized solutions that leverage our products and services to address their specific challenges and objectives. Creation of technical documents and drawings within an acceptable timeframe creating a formal solution that accurately portrays the desired technical solution as discussed with the Field Sales Colleague. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our solutions, effectively communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Coordinate testing and validation activities to ensure that solutions meet quality standards, performance requirements, and compliance regulations. Provide ongoing technical support to customers, troubleshooting issues, resolving challenges, and addressing inquiries in a timely and efficient manner. Assist in developing training materials, technical documentation, and knowledge resources to empower customers and internal stakeholders with the necessary skills and information to utilize our solutions effectively. Develop and maintain excellent communication skills both externally with customers and internally with colleagues. Support and assist sales personnel to ensure increased success for the company.
