Job Summary

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone.
  • Optimizes patients' satisfaction, ensures a short wait time by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
  • Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying patient of appointment reminders via email, provides chiropractor of patient's arrival.
  • Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
  • Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
  • Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level.
  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Process payments for various practitioners, patients and services rendered.
  • Manage the flow of patients at the front desk and direct individuals to the correct rooms.
  • Multi-task and work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Deliver exceptional patient experience and promote an open environment where patients and staff are able to communicate concerns and questions openly.
  • Ability to draft and edit documents, letters, emails and other inquiries
  • You must be a team player willing to take on additional roles and challenges as they arise.
  • Must be able to handle stress well, cope with changing office policies and schedules.

  • Jane software
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

  • To be determined based on knowledge and experience in a similar role
