We're hiring a Marketing Assistant (Part-Time Contract)

We're looking for a creative, organized, and efficient person to join our team at
The Comedy Department
- an award-winning Vancouver comedy company. Someone who can jump in, get things done, and help keep our comedy brand looking sharp.

This is a part-time, contract position (approx. 6-8 hours per week)
with flexible scheduling and room to grow.

What you'll do:


• Design and schedule social media content across multiple platforms


• Create eye-catching graphics, reels, and print materials that match our brand vibe


• Keep our content organized - from assets to captions to calendars


• Help with small admin tasks to keep marketing projects on track


• Collaborate with the team to brainstorm ideas and bring campaigns to life

What we're looking for:


• Strong graphic design and Canva skills (CapCut a bonus)


• Solid understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn


• Attention to detail - you care about how things look and land


• Reliable, proactive, and comfortable working independently


• A sense of humour and a love for live comedy
