Supportive Roommate / Live-In Companion for Adult with Autism (PDD Program)

Location: Calgary, Alberta

Employment Type: Full-time live-in position

Compensation: Paid through Alberta PDD funding

We are seeking a caring and responsible person to live with and support a 30-year-old woman with autism in her own apartment. The ideal candidate is compassionate, patient, and enjoys helping others live an independent and fulfilling life. We welcome foreign workers to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship and supervision in a supportive home environment
  • Assist with daily routines such as meal preparation, household tasks, and community outings
  • Promote independence, safety, and inclusion in community activities
  • Communicate with family and PDD supports as needed

Schedule:

Primarily days, evenings and overnights. Weekends may be flexible.

Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work in Canada (LMIA sponsorship available for qualified foreign workers)
  • Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
  • Clear criminal record check and references required

Compensation:

3300 monthly, tax free
