Director of Finance
to provide strategic leadership and strengthen the finance function.
Reporting to senior leadership, the Director of Finance will manage the finance department, oversee financial operations, and support HR initiatives including onboarding and mentoring finance staff. This role requires a strong understanding of the business, the ability to improve communication and information flow across teams, and the capacity to lead complex financial projects, including budgeting, cash flow management, and full-cycle accounting.
Key Responsibilities for the Job:
- Lead and mentor the finance department, ensuring alignment with company goals and best practices
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and full-cycle accounting
- Collaborate across departments to enhance communication and data-driven decision-making
- Support HR processes related to the finance function, including onboarding and training staff
- Provide strategic insight and guidance to senior leadership on financial planning and organizational initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Support special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed
Experience & Attributes for Success:
- CPA designation required
- Minimum of 3 years in a similar, senior finance leadership role, managing a team or department
- Experience across multiple business units or locations an asset
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to improve processes and information flow
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
Compensation & Work Environment:
- Competitive salary in the
range of $120,000 per annum - Comprehensive benefits, including fully employer-paid health and dental coverage

- Four weeks' vacation per year
- Company vehicle provided for work-related travel
