**Overview**:
- Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Manager of Finance is responsible for maintaining an accounting system and serve as a resource in all aspects of accounting management. _
- Ability to be a multi-tasking, team player who is comfortable with a fast-paced and often challenging environment is required._
**Professional Responsibilities**
- Develop, implement, and maintain organizational financial systems and processes, policies, and best practices to enhance organizational effectiveness and accountability.
- Accurate and error-free processing of tasks and duties in accordance with accepted accounting principles.
- Processing of invoices, expense claims, vendor payments, and accounts receivable.
- Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure timely preparation, review, and submission of regulatory filings i.e., WSIB, HST, T3010, etc.
- Lead the on-time delivery of audit requests from external auditors.
- Support organizational contracts, including reviewing quotes and agreements with municipalities, vendors, and contractors.
- Process and administer payroll, WSIB remittance, statutory requirements, and year-end filings.
- Reconcile bank and investment accounts.
- Maintaining confidentiality for all financial information and personnel records.
- Maintain financial records in good order, working with the Executive Director to determine the appropriate category for different payables and receivables, if needed.
- Responsible for identifying any issues with the day-to-day financial operations, and making recommendations to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead the preparation of the annual budgets, cash flow projections, and provide support to team members managing budgets.
- Perform regular cost management reviews and analysis to identify areas of cost improvement for the organization.

**Positions Skills and Requirements**
- A degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Non-Profit Management, or related field required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or direct financial task and management.
- Ability and willingness to learn organization-specific computer platforms.
- Familiarity with non-profit business operations including fundraising and donation management an asset.
- Clear criminal background check.
Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
