About Us
Hamilton-Toronto Area Process Serving Inc. has been the GTHA's trusted source for document service since 1986, priding ourselves on our collaborations with likeminded professionals who are dedicated to getting the job done, right. Now, we are looking to expand our team in-office.
Scope of Role
- Data entry/file preparation;
- Drafting of invoices and of corresponding Affidavits;
- Use of Microsoft Office Applications such as; WordPerfect, Excel, Outlook for completion of the above; and
- Reception duties, such as answering telephones, greeting clientele upon entry to the office, etc.
Requirements
- Must possess a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute;
- Must possess verbal and written fluency in the English language;
- Must possess a reliable form of transportation to attend office location each day;
- Must possess, or be willing to obtain, a recent Criminal Judicial Matters Check; and
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication/interpersonal skills.
The Ideal Candidate possesses:
- Abilities to prioritize and manage time appropriately;
- Problem-solving skills and critical thought to effectively summarize details in chronological order;
- Abilities to thrive in a fast-paced, social environment;
- Comfort in navigating personal computer (PC) Windows software is an asset;
- Interest in/knowledge of the legal field and Rules of Service for civil matters within Ontario is an asset; and
- Previous experience in the legal field/relevant data entry capacity is an asset.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: $19.00 per hour
