About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, skilled Lead Farm Hand to join our team. The successful candidate will take a hands-on role in the day-to-day operations of the farm, supporting maintenance, animal care, and general property management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate farm equipment and vehicles, including tractors, utility vehicles, and snow plows
  • Perform seasonal maintenance such as plowing snow, mowing, and light construction or repair work
  • Assist with animal care and kennel maintenance as needed
  • Carry out general property upkeep, including fencing, grounds, and building maintenance
  • Support and coordinate with other farm staff to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven farm experience (minimum 2 years preferred)
  • Proficiency in operating tractors and other farm machinery
  • Basic mechanical or handyman skills
  • Experience working with kennels or animals is an asset
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take initiative
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
