Farm-Hand Required for Organic Egg Farm

Looking for a committed person to assist on our Free-Run Egg Farm Thrusday through Sundays. Approx. 6-7 hours/day. Duties include but are not limited to gathering eggs with a packer, cleaning and maintaining the packing room, manure management, ensuring hen health, repairing and maintaining equipment. Other farm duties such as driving equipment, cutting lawn, equipment repairs and/or installation, and other farm-related activities may be required. 2-3 days a week; some weeks will have more hours required than others.

Comfort with livestock and basic mechanical knowledge is a NECESSITY. Must be physically fit and have a driver's license. Applicants cannot own or have regular exposure to any other types of poultry. Applicants must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
