**Position Summary**:
The Operations Assistant will support the day-to-day operations across all aspects of the farm—from growing and harvesting to packaging and delivery. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone looking to grow with a startup and be part of the foundational team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Farm Operations**
- Work with the team to ensure the proper preparation of blocks (substrate mixing, sterilization, inoculation)
- Monitor environmental controls as needed
- Assist with daily farm tasks

**Harvesting & Packaging**
- Ensure product is being harvested and packaged according to standards
- Work with cross functional departments to work though any issues with equipment, quality issues, etc.
- Maintain cleanliness in packaging area and track yields

**Start-Up Support & Flexibility**
- Help test new systems, workflows, or equipment as we scale
- Participate in problem-solving and improving farm processes

**Logistics & Customer Support**
- Assist with order prep
- Help manage inventory and restock supplies

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an operations assistant, administrative assistant, or similar role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of ERP or CRM systems is a plus.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.
- Ability to multitask and work under mínimal supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Familiarity with greenhouse operations
- Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Pay: $17.20-$29.89 per hour

Expected hours: 48 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
