Farm Helper

**Job Summary**

We have a 30 acre farm in Caledon. Seeking very experienced farmers to help get us set up and regularly manage the farm. Have the business know-how. If you have a team of your own that could all work efficiently together would be great.

**Duties**
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in irrigation processes to promote healthy crop growth.
- Engage in horticultural tasks including planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various farming tasks.
- Conduct heavy lifting as required for planting, harvesting, and transporting materials.
- Follow safety protocols while operating heavy equipment and performing physical labor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency.

**Experience**
- Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Previous experience with irrigation systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with horticulture practices is a plus.
- Experience in maintenance tasks related to farm operations is beneficial.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely.
- Basic math skills are necessary for measuring materials and calculating quantities.
- Must live in or near Caledon, ON- Canada (or easily commute)
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.
