Summary

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team at King Square Kids Clinic in Canada. This vital role will contribute to our mission by ensuring smooth operations at the front desk, managing patient interactions, and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and families warmly, providing an excellent first impression.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and patient check-ins efficiently.
  • Handle multi-line phone systems to assist with inquiries and appointment bookings.
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records and patient information.
  • Process patient forms and ensure compliance with medical protocols.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate patient flow and care delivery.
  • Assist in managing billing and insurance verification processes.
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a medical office setting, preferably with pediatric patients.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records systems (e.g., Accuro).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with front desk operations and administrative tasks.
  • Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems.
