Founded in July 2015, the Community Safety Knowledge Alliance (CSKA) is a Canadian non-profit applied research organization committed to supporting leaders in policing, public health, and human services. We work with our clients and stakeholders to develop, implement, and assess innovative strategies and approaches that enhance community safety and well-being service delivery and outcomes.
Role Description
Our entire team works virtually. This is a 2 - 3 day per week, work-from-home opportunity. The Office Manager will organize administrative processes, manage office equipment, and coordinate activities to ensure operational efficiency. Responsibilities include providing administrative support to team members, addressing client inquiries, managing corporate banking, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, and ensuring the seamless functioning of office systems. As a central point for communication, the Office Manager will also handle correspondence and help maintain a positive and professional workplace environment.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise between team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Experience in administrative assistance and office administration to manage day-to-day operations efficiently.
- Proficiency with office equipment and systems (incl. Microsoft Office) to maintain smooth operational workflows.
- Customer service skills to address inquiries and provide support that meets or exceeds expectations.
- Prior experience in managing budgets, scheduling, or similar responsibilities is a plus.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- High level of proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., MS Office Suite and accounting software such as Quickbooks).
