Overview

We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest services, managing front desk operations during night shifts, and ensuring smooth hotel functions overnight. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, hospitality experience, and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for all guests. Multilingual and bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse clientele effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service during check-in and check-out processes
  • Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, addressing guest inquiries promptly
  • Handle guest requests, complaints, and special accommodations efficiently and courteously
  • Perform night audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy of accounts
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details
  • Monitor security of the hotel property during overnight hours and report any issues or concerns
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, reporting, and updating guest records
  • Uphold hotel policies and standards to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and staff

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in front desk operations or hospitality preferred; hotel experience is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills; ability to handle multi-line phone systems effectively
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse guest population
  • Knowledge of guest services procedures and hospitality industry standards preferred
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
  • Flexibility to work overnight shifts as part of a rotating schedule or as needed
