Reporting directly to the
Sales Support Specialist Manager
and supported by a dedicated team of customer care professionals, the Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Providing prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to customers
  • Performing order entry and reverse entry processes
  • Responding to customer requests in a timely and professional manner via phone, email, or chat
  • Answering questions about shipping, pricing, and product details
  • Identifying customer needs and recommending the best lighting solutions for their projects
  • Collaborating with Sales, Warehouse, and Production teams to meet project deliverables
  • Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction at the end of each transaction

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of customer care experience or a related industry
  • Post-secondary education preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel and familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems
  • Strong multitasking skills, sound judgment and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across phone, email, and online channels
  • Naturally curious, eager to learn, and interested in lighting technology and applications
  • Strong relationship-building, influence, and problem-solving skills
  • Positive team attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to prioritize effectively
