Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

Schedule: Project-based with opportunity for increased hours over time

About Order In The House
Order In The House is a Toronto-based organizing, move management, and staging company with over 16 years of experience supporting clients through life's most overwhelming transitions.
Our work goes beyond organizing spaces — we restore calm, clarity, and function during moments that require trust, discretion, and care. We operate with high standards, clear systems, and a deeply human approach to the work we do inside people's homes.
About the Role
We're looking for a reliable, grounded, hands-on Organizer & Move Support Specialist to join our team.
This role is organizing and moving focused, with opportunities to support staging and design projects depending on skill set. The position is project-based, with hours that increase as training is completed and on-site experience grows.
This is a great fit for someone who values doing things properly, takes pride in their work, and understands that trust and responsibility are earned over time.
Hours & Growth Expectations
This role begins with a training and probationary period, where hours may be lighter as we focus on proper onboarding, systems, and fit.
As training is completed and you become experience working independently with clients, hours typically increase, with reliable team members being prioritized for additional projects — especially during peak seasons.
This role offers long-term growth for the right person, including consistent scheduling and the opportunity to take on greater responsibility over time.
What You'll Be Doing
Organizing & Decluttering
Declutter, categorize, and create functional systems for homes, offices, storage lockers etc.
Implement organizing solutions that prioritize function and real-life use
Support client decision-making with patience, respect, and clarity
Reset spaces so they are intuitive and easy to maintain
Moving & Transition Support
Pack and unpack items with care, logic, and efficiency
Set up practical systems in new homes so clients can function immediately
Assist with move-day logistics, donations, and setup
Help reduce stress during emotionally charged transitions
Staging & Design Support (Preferred, Not Required)
Assist with staging preparation, setup, and de-staging
Support styling using inventory and/or client belongings
Transport, unpack, and place décor and furnishings
Help maintain staging inventory and project flow
Client & Team Interaction
Represent Order In The House with professionalism and warmth
Communicate clearly with team leads and clients
Capture before-and-after photos for documentation and content
Support teammates across multi-room or multi-day projects
This Role Is a Strong Fit If You…
Enjoy organizing, moving, and creating calm from chaos
Stay composed and thoughtful in fast-paced or emotional environments
Are detail-oriented and take pride in finishing things properly
Are physically capable (lifting, bending, stairs, standing for long periods)
Are reliable, punctual, and take ownership of your work
Appreciate structure, clear expectations, and thoughtful leadership
Are flexible with project-based scheduling and locations across the GTA
Requirements
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (SUV or larger preferred)
Willingness to travel throughout the GTA
Comfortable using basic technology (email, calendars, photos, CRM Software)
Availability during core daytime hours (generally 9:30am–5:30pm, excluding travel)
Comfortable with physically demanding work
Professional, discreet, and respectful in private homes
Bonus Points If You Have
Experience in professional organizing, moving, or home staging
A natural eye for space, flow, or design
Comfort assembling furniture or hanging artwork
Ability to take initiative and make sound on-site decisions
Interest in growing into a lead or specialty role over time
What We Offer
Project-based work with opportunity for increased hours
A calm, supportive, women-led team culture
Meaningful work that genuinely helps people
Clear systems, expectations, and communication
Long-term growth for aligned, reliable team members
