The Opportunity: Technical Sales Specialist (North America)
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Technical Sales Specialist to manage and grow our business across the North American territory. This role requires a unique blend of technical aptitude, hands-on sales experience, and a passion for building lasting customer relationships. You will be the technical and commercial expert for the ROTOLOAD product line, driving the full sales cycle from lead generation to final contract negotiation and post-sales support.
Location: Remote (North America-based, proximity to major travel hub preferred)
Travel: Approximately 50-75% travel within North America is required.

Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve ambitious territory sales targets and expand market share within North America.
- Technical Consultation: Serve as the primary technical resource, deeply understanding customer operational challenges and translating them into customized ROTOLOAD solutions. This includes conducting site visits, technical presentations, and equipment demonstrations.
- Pipeline Management: Manage a robust sales pipeline using our CRM system, accurately forecasting sales and providing regular reporting on territory performance.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key accounts, engineering teams, and executive stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Engineering, Product Development, and Marketing teams to provide market feedback, refine product offerings, and ensure seamless project execution.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead the commercial negotiation process, preparing detailed proposals, cost analyses, and sales contracts.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive technical sales experience in capital equipment, industrial machinery, material handling, or a related complex B2B manufacturing/engineering sector.
- Technical Degree: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field) is strongly preferred, or equivalent experience demonstrating strong technical acumen.
- Proven Results: Documented track record of consistently meeting or exceeding technical sales quotas in a large, multi-state or multi-country territory.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Autonomy: Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently while managing extensive travel.
Technical Sales Experience (Specifics Required):
- Product Expertise: Detail your experience selling complex technical products, specifically industrial automation, material handling, or high-value capital equipment.
- Solution Selling: Describe your proficiency in utilizing a consultative, solution-based sales approach rather than transactional selling.
- Project Size: Provide examples of the typical dollar value and complexity of the projects you have successfully managed from initial inquiry to final installation.
- Industry Focus: Indicate relevant experience selling into sectors such as general manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, plastics, or heavy industry.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with rotational molding processes, bulk handling systems, or complex automation equipment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Fluency in Spanish or French is a plus.
