Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Manage a Portfolio: Build your own book of business through B2B cold calling and relationship development.
- Identify Opportunities: Secure new clients, negotiate contracts, and drive revenue growth with tailored freight solutions.
- Client Engagement: Understand customer challenges and deliver strategic, cost-effective shipping solutions.
- Drive Growth: Expand your client base and build long-term partnerships by delivering consistent value and service.
- Business Prospecting: Continuously identify new business opportunities through proactive outreach.
- Rate Negotiation: Work with carriers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
What We're Looking For
- Education & Experience: Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in sales, logistics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, and CRM tools.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and a focus on accuracy.
- Client-Focused: Ability to build strong relationships and deliver top-tier service.
