Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Regional Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales and margin growth while strengthening relationships with customers, suppliers and employees.
What you will do:
- Drive Strategic Sales: Identify and pursue key market opportunities, leveraging data-driven insights to develop and execute winning sales strategies.
- Inspire Performance: Motivate and guide the sales team to deliver profitable growth and capture new market opportunities
- Build Strong Relationships: Cultivate long-term partnerships with current and prospective customers to foster loyalty and growth.
- Deliver Winning Solutions: Create compelling sales presentations and competitive quotations that meet customer needs and differentiate ROBINSON in the market.
- Develop Top Talent: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team, setting clear expectations and providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Optimize Performance: Review and monitor sales performance to ensure alignment with regional growth objectives.
- Manage Resources: Contribute to budget planning, manage expenses, and maximize resource allocation to deliver strong sales and margin results.
About you:
- 10+ years in sales, business development, or account management, including 5+ years leading a sales team.
- Experience in wholesale distribution an asset, ideally plumbing or HVAC.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.
- Skilled at recruiting, developing, and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong relationship builder with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Strategic thinker with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
- Adaptable, solutions-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment
