We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. Duties

  • Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling according to client preferences
  • Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles or products
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools to ensure client safety
  • Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
  • Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments
  • Foster positive relationships with clients through excellent communication and personalized service
  • Stay current with industry trends and participate in ongoing training or professional development opportunities

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
  • Expertise in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and special treatments
  • Knowledge of sanitation protocols and maintaining a clean work environment
  • Ability to upsell products and services effectively without being pushy
  • Excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration
  • Experience in retail sales within a salon or similar environment is a plus
  • Front desk experience is desirable for managing appointments and client interactions
