Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate hair stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a hair stylist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful hairstyles, providing consultations, and ensuring guest satisfaction while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Duties

  • Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet guests needs.
  • Provide professional consultations to guests regarding their hair care and styling options.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with health regulations.
  • Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments, managing client records, and processing payments.
  • Engage in retail sales by recommending products that enhance guests hair care routines.
  • Upsell additional services or products to guests during appointments to enhance their experience.
  • Communicate effectively with guests to understand their preferences and provide personalized service.
  • Foster a positive atmosphere in the salon by building rapport with guests and colleagues.

Experience

  • Previous experience in hair styling is preferred but not mandatory; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
  • Experience in retail sales is a plus, as it will aid in product recommendations and upselling efforts.
  • Familiarity with front desk operations is beneficial for managing appointments and client interactions.
