Overview

We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional hair styling services, providing outstanding customer care, and creating a welcoming environment for clients. Duties

  • Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling according to client preferences.
  • Provide personalized consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable styles or products.
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools to ensure client safety and hygiene.
  • Engage with clients in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive experience that encourages repeat business.
  • Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
  • Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments.
  • Keep abreast of current hair trends, techniques, and products to offer innovative solutions.
  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere that promotes client comfort and loyalty.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients.
  • Expertise in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and styling.
  • Knowledge of sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Effective communication skills for consulting with clients and collaborating with team members.
  • Ability to upsell retail products naturally while focusing on client needs.
  • Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred.
  • Professional attitude with excellent interpersonal skills to create a positive salon experience for all clients. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$46.46 per hour
